On Tuesday, March 17, the Indiana Chapter of Women in Lottery Leadership held its second annual meeting where we celebrated the Class of 2025 with nine mentees and mentors. Participants were given a token of appreciation in the form of a Moleskin notebook. In addition to the discussion of our mentor program, we welcomed Ashleigh Newbold, Vice President of Engagement with Indiana Sports Corp, the country’s oldest and largest sports commission. Ashleigh shared her professional journey and some of the decisions she made to help advance her career.

About Ashleigh: Ashleigh Newbold joined Indiana Sports Corp in January 2017 and now serves as Vice President of Engagement, where she leads strategies that connect people to purpose and passion. She oversees engagement efforts that attract, inspire, and mobilize stakeholders, volunteers, and community partners—ensuring every major event leaves Indiana stronger, more connected, and prouder than before. Beyond her professional role, Ashleigh is deeply invested in Indianapolis and its future leaders. She serves as a board member for IndyHub and Chief of Staff for WISE (Women in Sports & Events) Indy, and is a member of the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series Class 48. In recognition of her leadership and impact, she was nominated for the United Way of Central Indiana’s ELEVATE Nonprofit Employee of the Year Award in 2023, named to IBJ Media’s Forty Under 40 Class of 2025, and selected as a 2026 Junior Achievement of Central Indiana Best & Brightest Finalist.
